$80 Family Plan - Becomes the $95 5G Family Plan (100GB shared data)
We are making changes to selected ALDI Mobile plans, effective from 15 November 2023. These changes will impact the $80 Family Plan, and we've prepared this FAQ to provide you with more detailed information.

Note that 5G is only available on 5G plans accessed via a 5G-compatible device and in areas with 5G coverage. The Telstra Wholesale 3G Network will close mid-2024. After this date, you'll need a 4G device with VoLTE calling capability to stay connected. 5G & 4G [modal=speedCaps]speed caps apply[/modal] to all of our plans.

Q: When do these plan changes happen?
A: The plan
changes will go into effect on your first recharge from 15 November 2023.
Q: How does the price change affect my plan?
A: Your
current plan price will increase from $80 to $95 per 30 day
recharge, starting from your first recharge on or after 15 November 2023.
Q: Can I still have up to 4 services on my plan that can share my
inclusions?
A: Yes, there are no changes to the number of services that you can
have on your family plan.
Q: What's changing with my data allowance?
A: Your data
allowance will increase from 88GB to 100GB on your first recharge from 15
November 2023.
Q: Will I have access to 5G now?
A: Yes, 5G access will
be enabled on your plan, potentially improving your network
experience. To access 5G you need to you have a 5G enabled device and be
in a 5G coverage area. See our

Q: Are there any changes to MMS allowances?
A: Yes, MMS
to Australian numbers will increase from 4,000 to 6,000 per recharge from 15
November 2023.
Q: How will Auto Recharge work with these changes?
A: If
your service is set up for Auto Recharge, the new amount will be automatically
charged on your first recharge from 15 November 2023, and you will receive the
updated inclusions. To disable Auto Recharge, use
My ALDI Mobile or the ALDI
Mobile app, and you'll need to manually recharge or use PAYG credit when your
plan expires.
Q: I recharged with the $80 Family Plan just before 15 November, what
happens to my current plan with these changes?
A: If you recharged before 15 November and it expires after this date,
your $80 Family Plan will remain active and you will be able to use the
inclusions until it expires. When your plan expires you will be offered the
updated $95 5G Family Plan and updated inclusions.
Q: Will my plan name change as well?
A: Yes, from 15
November 2023, your plan name in
My ALDI Mobile and the ALDI
Mobile app will change to $95 5G Family Plan to reflect recent updates.
However, you won't be charged the new price or receive the new inclusions
until your next recharge after this date.
