Changes to $25 Mobile Plan - 24 September 2025

From 24 September 2025, the $25 Mobile Plan will no longer be available for new customers. However, if you're already using this plan, or if you’ve already purchased a $25 Mobile Plan recharge or starter pack (in-store or online) before this date, there’s no change to your service, provided the recharge or pack is still within its validity period.

What does this mean for existing customers?

If you’re currently on the $25 Mobile Plan, you can continue to renew your plan as usual on an ongoing basis, even after 24 September 2025, as long as you don’t switch to another plan. We’ll let you know in advance if there are any future changes to this plan's availability.

If you’ve already purchased a $25 Mobile Plan recharge or starter pack before 24 September 2025 (e.g. from ALDI stores or from aldimobile.com.au), and it’s still within its validity period, you can activate it and begin using the plan. Once activated, you'll be treated as an existing customer and may continue renewing the $25 Mobile Plan for as long as you like, provided you don’t switch to another plan.

If you do choose to move to a different plan, you won’t be able to return to the $25 Mobile Plan later.

Here’s what’s included in the $25 Mobile Plan:

  • 22GB of data
  • Unlimited standard calls and SMS to Australian numbers
  • Unlimited international calls and SMS to 20 countries
  • 100 minutes and 50 SMS to 30 additional countries
  • 2,000 MMS to Australian numbers
  • 30 day expiry

If we update this policy in the future, we’ll let you know in advance.

Why is this plan being withdrawn?

We regularly review our mobile plans to ensure we’re offering great value and remain competitive with the market.

What if I’m not on this plan?

Only customers who are already using the $25 Mobile Plan, or have purchased a valid $25 recharge or starter pack before 24 September 2025, will be able to renew with this plan.
