Our plans are changing
This update outlines upcoming changes that will take effect to some of our plans from 15 November 2023.
If you’ve received an SMS or email letting you know about the changes it is because you have a service on your ALDImobile account that recently recharged with one of these plans.
Here's what’s changing:
- The $15 Mobile Plan will no longer be available. Existing customers will be offered the $17 Mobile Plan.
- The $99, $159 and $189 Super Packs will have their pricing and inclusions updated.
- Our Family Plans will now include more data, become 5G-enabled and the pricing will change.

Plans set to Auto Recharge
If your service is set up for Auto Recharge, we will automatically charge the new amount on your first recharge from 15 November 2023. You’ll also receive your updated inclusions on your first recharge from 15 November 2023.
Customers currently on the $15 Mobile Plan who have Auto Recharge set will be offered the $17 Mobile Plan on their first recharge from 15 November 2023.
If you do not wish to automatically be renewed on your updated plan you may disable Auto Recharge via My ALDImobile or the ALDImobile app. In this case you will need to manually recharge and select a new plan or use PAYG credit to use your service when your plan expires.
Updated plan names
From 15 November 2023, your plan name in My ALDImobile and the ALDImobile app may change to reflect the recent updates to this plan.
While you will see this new name immediately, it is important to note that you will not be charged the new price or receive the new inclusions, until you next recharge after this date.

Q: What to my Data Rollover balance?
A: If you are on the $15 Mobile Plan and have a Data Rollover balance, this will be maintained as you transition to the new plan, as long as data
Q: What if I have a $15 Mobile Plan recharge voucher that's still valid?
A: If you have an unused $15 Mobile Plan recharge voucher that has not expired you can still use it and receive the benefits of the new plan. However, once the plan expires, you will be offered the $17 Mobile Plan on your next recharge.
Q: The $17 Mobile Plans is being discontinued. What does that mean for me?
A: Whilst the $17 Mobile Plan will not be offered to new customer from 15 November 2023, select customers including those whose last recharge was on the $15 Mobile Plan, are able to recharge with the $17 Mobile Plan on an ongoing basis. If this changes, we will let you know in advance.
If after 15 November 2023 you move to a different plan, you will not be able to select the $17 Mobile Plan after you have moved.

While we'd prefer not to have to make changes that impact the price you pay, increased investment in network quality and the costs associated with and supplying telco services have made these changes necessary so we can continue to offer the best possible value.
